Item: Table Spoon Description: Hanoverian Hallmark: Newcastle 1773 by David Crawford Dimensions: 209 mm length; 78 grams Comments: A very hefty Newcastle made spoon with an excellent set of hallmarks (maker's mark is DC surmounted by a crown). The script initials to the front are slightly later in date (circa 1790). The original block engraved betrothal initials can still be seen on the obverse but are rather worn. Price: SOLD Ref.
