Item: Table Spoon Description: Hanoverian Rat-tail Hallmark: Exeter 1724 Dimensions: 206mm long, 55 grams Comments: A really good all round spoon. It has a good unworn bowl, strong rattail, contemporary dated baptismal engraving and a very crisp set of hallmarks. It does not appear to have been struck with a standard maker's mark, but instead has a curious "B" within an oval punch. Ideas on what this mark might be are welcome. Price: SOLD Ref.
