Item: Trefid Spoon Description: Lace-back Hallmark: Taunton circa 1681 by Thomas Dare Dimensions: 195mm long; 48 grams Comments: A fine example of a West Country laceback spoon with dated betrothal initials for 1681. The spoon is stamped twice with the maker's mark and once with the highly sought after "T" and tun town mark.
