Item: Table Spoon Description: Trefid Hallmark: Exeter 1704 by John Avery Dimensions: 199 mm long, 44g weight Comments: A fine set of Britannia Standard hallmarks and dated contemporary betrothal initials on this West Country spoon. The bowl retains it's shape but is thin at the leading edge. An unusual feature are the two lines across the front terminal which may have been guide lines for engraving that never took place.
