Item: Table Spoon Description: Hanoverian Pattern  Hallmark: London 1749 by Elizabeth Jackson (widow's lozenge) Dimensions: 204mm long, 66 g weight

Comments: Elizabeth Jackson was the widow of Charles Jackson entering her mark (within a traditional widow's lozenge) on 4th Aug. 1748. By 1750 she had re-married and entered her new mark as Elizabeth Oldfield. See TI/3307 for spoons with EO maker's mark.

Two near identical, good quality spoons are available. Both are in very good condition. In the photo showing the marks the one at the bottom is priced at, whilst the other (slightly rubbed) is £60.
