Item: Trefid Spoon Description: Reeded rat tail Hallmark: London c.1690 by Wm Scarlett Dimensions: 198mm long, 68 grams weight Comments: An extremely heavy gauge spoon with old standard marks (dating it to pre 1697). Very good reeded rattail, clear makers mark (dating it post 1678) for a prominent maker, but worn date letter. Contemporary wedding initials, slight wear to tip of bowl. Price: SOLD Ref.
