Item: Card Case (cased) Description: Windsor castle (view from west showing the King's Chapel and Round Tower) and Warwick Castle (Caesar's Tower with Guy's Tower beyond) Hallmark: Birmingham 1841 by Taylor & Perry Dimensions: 96mm x 70mm rectangular; 71 g weight Comments: A fine quality double-sided castle top card case. The relief decoration is set amongst engraved scrolls and swirls with a vacant cartouche to one cover. The decoration is very crisp with the Windsor Castle scene showing a man sitting on a barrel under a tree in the foreground and the Warwick Castle scene showing two men in a rowing boat.
