Item: Sugar Tongs Description: Sprung pivot with flat arms Hallmark: London 1800 by WB (possibly Wilkes Booth) Dimensions: 150mm long; 37g weight Comments: A fine pair of sprung arm sugar tongs. The flat arms are bright-cut engraved and despite the four vacant cartouches, the tongs have been engraved with dated initials to the outside of one arm. These tongs have been well designed with the uppermost section of one arm being bowed to allow the thumb a better grip.
