Item: 6 x Table Forks Description: Old English Pattern Hallmark: London 1783 by Hester Bateman Dimensions: 202mm long; 432g weight Comments: A very rare set of Hester Bateman forks. Spoons by this sought after maker are plentiful, but forks are extremely difficult to find and at just £120 per fork this set are attractively priced. They are in excellent original condition with no engravings and good sets of hallmarks. The "HB" maker's mark is a little rubbed on some pieces, but they are clearly a straight set.
