1790 by Peter & Jonathan Bateman Dimensions: 280mm long; 68 g weight Comments: An extremely rare PB/IB meat skewer. The skewer is in excellent condition with a very good set of hallmarks. The partnership of the two sons of Hester Bateman was short-lived due to the untimely death of Jonathan. The marks were only in use between 7th December 1790 and 2nd May 1791 and therefore items bearing this mark are subject to a hefty premium. Price: SOLD Ref.
