Hallmark: London 1791 by Peter & Jonathan Bateman Dimensions: 292mm long;
90g weight Comments: A good quality basting spoon with the rare PB/IB maker's mark. The spoon is in fine original condition with a good bowl and no engravings. *When Hester Bateman retired in 1790, her two sons took over the running of the family business. The partnership was short-lived due to the untimely death of Jonathan. The marks were only in use between 7th December 1790 and 2nd May 1791 and therefore items bearing this rare mark are highly collectable.
