Item: Table Fork Description: Dog Nose, 2-pronged Hallmark: London 1703 Dimensions: 188 mm length; 52 grams Comments: An extremely rare Queen Anne period 2-pronged fork. This fork has legible (albeit worn) hallmarks and decent length tines. It is a very heavy fork and has a strong dog nose terminal. Provenance: The How of Edinburgh Sale on October 30th 2007. How of Edinburgh were the leading experts in early spoons.
