Item: Caddy Spoon Description: Florally engraved
bowl & stem Hallmark: St.
Petersburg 1880's by Ivan Khlebnikov Dimensions: 113mm long;
25g weight Comments: A superbly made caddy
spoon with a good weight, by one of Russia's finest silversmiths (full
name in Cyrillic). The spoon is ornately engraved to the reverse of the
bowl encompassing original engraved initials. The reverse of the terminal
is intriguingly engraved "25" in Roman numerals (XXV). The spoon
retains a degree of original gilding. The last digit of the date mark is
lost amongst the engravings.
