1783 by George Wintle Dimensions: 88 mm long Comments: An attractive Georgian spoon with crisp engraving and a vacant cartouche to the front terminal (N.B. the apparent scratch is actually a reflection!). The hallmarks are very clear, however the maker's marks that are stamped by this maker are invariably difficult to read (either it is poorly struck or a worn punch was used) - this spoon is no exception to that rule!
