233-piece  King's Pattern Canteen, Sheffield 1955-59 by Cooper Brothers Ltd

We are offering for sale a rare opportunity to purchase an "all singing all dancing" canteen in King's Pattern with every conceivable piece that you might require.

The canteen benefits from having no engravings and is in excellent original condition throughout. It would appear to have rarely been used.

King's Pattern

King's Pattern is the most well known and popular decorative patterns. It was based on an 18th century French design and became fashionable amongst the wealthy in the early years of the 19th Century. The design encompasses a shell to both sides of the handle terminal and reverse of the bowl, scrolls down the handle shaft with a honeysuckle motif to the centre.

The Service

All the pieces in this 8 place settings canteen are in excellent condition with double-struck decoration and a good solid feel in the hand. The pieces have the bonus of being free from engraved initials/crests. All 233 items within this service bear Sheffield hallmarks from the late 1950's with the makers mark for Cooper Brothers Ltd..

The substantial range of pieces within this canteen mean that almost any dish can be catered for. It has everything you need to dine in style.
