Comments: A wonderful quality canteen at a
remarkably good price. Each piece has a hefty feel in the hand. The
canteen is composed of two part canteens that are a near identical match
to each other. Thirty four pieces display a griffin crest and is mainly
hallmarked London 1890/91 by George Maudsley Jackson. Twenty five pieces
bear a crest depicting two claws supported by wings atop a crown and are
by Chawner & Company. There is a single dessert spoon with a greyhound
crest.
The knives are complementing early 20thC square bone
handled with stainless steel blades.
