Antique Silver Spoons

Fiddle & Thread Pattern Canteen, Sheffield 1889 by Walker & Hall

We are offering a top quality Victorian six place settings canteen in the highly popular Fiddle & Thread pattern.

The restrained decoration of fiddle & thread pattern treads the fine line between elegant/simple and ornate/decorative. The pattern is double struck (i.e. on the front and reverse sides of each item). This particular canteen greatly benefits from having no engravings (initials/crests) and none have ever been erased. Each piece has a good hefty weight to it and feels very solid in the hand - the table forks weigh 3 troy ounces each.
