Item: Canteen
Description: Fiddle
Pattern

Comments: We can tailor make-up canteens to
order by this maker.
All items are sold in an immaculate polished condition

George Adams of Chawner
& Company made the finest quality Fiddle Pattern in the
19th century. The pieces were generally a standard size and match
perfectly to each other. We can supply the exact quantity required, with
serving items as optional extras. If you require more of one item and less
of another (e.g. dessert forks for use with a starter or no teaspoons) we
will be happy to oblige and quote accordingly.
We advocate new hallmarked silver
handled knives or bone handled knives with stainless steel blades from the
early 20th century. (N.B. Victorian knives are generally in too poor
condition to be practicable.)
As with all the canteens available from our web-site, we are happy to
send a sample place setting for approval, on receipt of a fully refundable
surety cheque, prior to purchasing this canteen.
