Item: Rattle Description: Coral teether with whistle & bells; filigree and engraved decoration Hallmark: Birmingham 1826 by John Bettridge Dimensions: 147mm length Comments: A very attractive George IV period rattle with rarely found filigree decoration around the body and whistle. The teether is original, but the bells are later additions. The rattle is marked around the grip holding the coral and with a maker's mark by the whistle.
