fantastic example of a West Country trefid spoon made by a Huguenot family
living in Devon. The new standard SE mark relates to either Henry Servant of
Barnstaple or Francis Servant of Bideford. The spoons bears a superb set of Britannia
Standard hallmarks from Exeter assay office and the spoon itself in
beautiful condition with a full bowl and crisp reeded rattail. The reverse
terminal bears original dot prick engraved betrothal initials with date.
Each feature of this spoon adds to its attraction - highly recommended!
