The second of JP Fallon’s books follows much the same
format as the first with alphabetical listing of the
makers with their working
histories, and a useful index of maker’s marks. It lacks the addendum of the
first book, but the histories of each silversmith are generally more detailed.
This is a very useful book because it covers a period that was not
comprehensively covered by Jackson.
