Item: Straining Spoon Description: Fiddle pattern Hallmark: London 1819 by Richard Pearce Dimensions: 225mm long, 70 g weight 

Comments: A Georgian silver fiddle pattern table spoon with a pierced bowl allowing it to be used for serving vegetables, soft fruit etc. The piercing may have been added later, but it sets this useful Georgian table spoon apart from standard examples. The front terminal is engraved with a "H" and the condition and quality is excellent.
