Antique Silver

Item: Tea Caddy Description: Bombe with bead mounts and Gothic chased decoration Hallmark: London 1853 by Robert Hennell III Dimensions: 140mm x 105mm; 160mm high, 512 grams

Comments: An outstanding quality Victorian tea caddy. This caddy box has a tremendously hefty weight and the decoration is in pristine condition. The tea caddy stands on four openwork feet and has vignettes of low relief chased Gothic style decoration around the top of the body and around the hinged cover. The cover is topped by a large rocaille knop finial. The front of the box bears two engraved crests with clear hallmarks to the reverse. Highly recommended!
