Item: 6 x Table Spoons Description: Onslow pattern Hallmark: London
1772 by Thomas Chawner Dimensions: 210mm long; 387 grams
Comments: An excellent set of Georgian table
spoons in a very distinctive and unusual pattern. Onslow Pattern was named
in honour of the famous Speaker of the House of Commons. The pattern is
unusual in that it is made from two pieces - the cast volute terminal is
applied by way of a scarf joint. The spoons are in fine condition with
original bowl tips and bottom-struck hallmarks.
