Item: Boxed Epergne Description: Gilt; 3 branches, 4 pierced dishes
Hallmark: London 1908 by Henry Charles Freeman Dimensions: 250mm high; 160mm diameter base; 105mm diameter
basket; 1440grams gross weight. Box: 250mm x 290mm x 300mm Comments: A
beautiful Edwardian silver-gilt epergne presented within its original
carrying box. The epergne is in superb condition with the gold plating
intact throughout - this would mostly be a testament to the presence and
quality of the box. The purpose of this epergne would be as a centrepiece
for a dining table or sideboard. The three hanging baskets would carry
sweets and nibbles and the central basket would display fruit. All four
baskets have the benefit of being able to be passed around or stand
independently.
