Item: Pair of Candlesticks Description: Hallmark: London 1852 by John Tapley Dimensions: 152mm high; 90mm diameter base; 674grams Comments: A very rare pair of piano candlesticks by one of London's finest silversmiths. These candlesticks are cast, and are therefore made of a substantial enough gauge of silver to not require loading/weighting to the insides. Each section is decorated in relief with reclining females and maiden masks. The removable sconce nozzles to the top are appropriately hallmarked.
