Item: Teaset (3-piece) Description: Round with central banding and greyhound finial Hallmark: London 1860 by William Smily Dimensions: Teapot: c.145mm high; 280mm spout to handle; 1400ml volume; 672g weight. Sugar Bowl: 115mm high; 192mm handle to handle; 349g weight. Cream Jug: 95mm high; 154mm spout to handle; 215g weight. Total Weight: 1236g

Comments: A three piece tea service of the very highest quality and made for one of the premier London retailers of the Victorian period - AB Savoury & Sons of London. Each piece in the set has a central reed banding and "C" scroll handle. The teapot finial is unusual in being in the form of a well modelled greyhound.

All three items are in lovely condition with neither damage nor repairs. They retain their original patina and the teapot interior has been cleaned.
