Item: Basting Spoon Description: Old English pattern; crested Hallmark: Dublin 1769 by Christopher Haines Dimensions: approx. 315mm long, 100g weight Comments: A lovely 18th Century Irish basting spoon (aka stuffing, gravy or long handled serving spoon) with a great set of hallmarks. The spoon has a fine patina, a crisp engraved crest of a swan and a good bowl (some scratches). A good early piece of Irish silver.
