Item: Hunting Horn Hallmark: Dublin
1884 by John Smith Dimensions: 260mm, 135 grams Comments: A very rare example of an Irish hunting horn in excellent condition and full working order. The horn bears the follow engraved inscription "Presented to W Dove Esq. MMH by PSP 1884". MMH is an abbreviation of Master of MinkHounds. Hunting horns are very collectable, but we do not recall seeing an Irish hunting horn before.
