Dimensions: 47mm Comments: This is a very rare miniature, sparrow beak jug dating from the early 18th C. It has a jockey cap style removable cover and scroll handle. It bears the maker's mark of the most important maker of miniature or toy silver to the underside. Excellent condition. A very similar lidded jug by the same maker can be seen in figure 207 in "Miniature Silver Toys" by Victor Houart..
