These are an exceptional Victorian pair made by the foremost producers of novelty silver in the mid-19th Century. The cast figures are excellently modelled with superb detail (even the lace on the lady's bodice and the buttons on the man's tunic and shirt can be seen). The servers would be ideal for an important wedding with the two figures wearing 18thC costume and carrying posies of flowers.
