The ivory handle is amazingly tactile and the cheese can be served from the blade by a very user friendly pusher mechanism. In addition the blade and mechanism can be easily be cleaned by giving a 90 degree turn to the small knob on top of the stem. The scoop is in superb condition with a perfect handle and a good set of hallmarks.
