Item: Stilton Scoop Description: Green-stained ivory handle Hallmark: London 1788 by Richard Crossley Dimensions: 258mm long. Comments: An extremely early stilton scoop (rarely found dating from the 18thC) in superb condition. The green stained ivory handle has a beautiful feel to it, the scoop section is flat with one straight side and a contemporary to manufacture engraved ducal crest (a stag surmounted by a crown) is evidence of the item's rich heritage.
