Item: Mote Spoon Description: Scroll and crosslet pierced bowl Hallmark: London circa 1760 Dimensions: 135mm long Comments: A good example of a mid-18th Century mote spoon with diamond point spike for cleaning out the strainer section of teapots. The appropriate two hallmarks are present but indecipherable (one is a lion passant and the other a makers' mark).
