Item: Pair of Inkwells Description: Big Tops Hallmark: Sheffield 1898 by Saint Arnaud Creake Dimensions: 105mm high; 104mm base diameter Comments: A very rare pair of Victorian novelty inkwells in the form of circus big top tents. Both pieces are cone shaped with removable covers and are engraved to simulate the guy ropes, entrance and rope ties. The inside of each piece is loaded and fitted with a glass liner and wooden base. These would look fabulous as a pair on a desk with two colours of ink.
