Item: Scent Bottle Description: Aesthetic period with song birds Hallmark: London 1880 by Brockwell & Son (Henry Titterton Brockwell) Dimensions: 66mm high & 37mm diameter Comments: This very pretty Victorian perfume bottle is superbly engraved in the Aesthetic style. Three swallows are flying towards a reed bed in which a heron is put to flight. All the engraved subjects are beautifully gilt as is the sunburst around the neck and geometric band around the base. The inside of the cover is gilt and the original stopper is in good order. An excellent piece in fine order.
