Item: Table Spoon Description: Fiddle Pattern Hallmark: Tain c.1820 by Alexander Stewart Dimensions: 230mm long; 70 grams

Comments: An extremely rare Scottish Provincial table spoon with crisp marks; A.S, TAIN, ear of wheat. The spoon has a lovely feel to it with Scottish proportion fiddle shoulders , contemporary to manufacture engraved initials, a good gauge and a thick tip to the bowl.

Tain is Scotland's oldest Royal burgh and is a small northern town in Ross-shire.
