Item: Soup Ladle Description: Old English Celtic Point Pattern Hallmark: Paisley circa 1810 by William Hannay Dimensions: 360mm long; 171 grams weight Comments: A very rare, hefty and especially long Scottish provincial ladle with a good set of marks (n.b. the "WH" marks are small and deeply punched, making them a little difficult to read, but they are in good original condition). A nice additional detail is the double heel to the reverse of the bowl. There is some pitting to the bowl, but overall this a fine and top quality example.
