Item: toddy Ladle Description: Oar pattern Hallmark: Montrose

Comments: A very rare pair of Montrose made ladles in the distinctively Scottish Oar Pattern (Fiddle Pattern without the lower shoulders). Both ladles bear an engraved letter "L" in script to the front terminals and have a crisp set of marks - "rose" x3 and "WM". Montrose is a coastal town on the east coast of Scotland approximately half way between Dundee and Aberdeen.
