Item: Table Spoon Description: Hanoverian pattern Hallmark: Canongate circa
1750 by Peter Spalding Dimensions: 208mm long; 72g weight Comments: An
extremely rare Scottish provincial mid-18th century table spoon made in
Canongate (near Edinburgh). This spoon has a very hefty feel in the hand and
remains in superb original condition with a thick bowl rim and original
engravings to the reverse terminal. The marks are deeply struck "PS",
"Deer's head", "S" & "PS".
An all round outstanding & very rare spoon!
