Antique Silver

Item:  6 x Teaspoons Description: Old English pattern; bright-cut engraved Hallmark: Aberdeen circa 1800 by Peter Lambert Dimensions: 136mm long; 70 grams weight

Comments: A very rare and fine set of teaspoons with good examples of the rare "sporran" mark. These spoons were made by Lambert in his early days, prior to his more famous years as a Montrose based silversmith. Bright-cutting is a rare form of decoration on Scottish silver and these have been expertly decorated.
