Item: Cake/Fish Trowel Description: Flat pierced blade and turned
wooden handle Hallmark: London 1759 by
Samuel Herbert & Co. Dimensions: 305mm long Comments: A
fantastic quality serving trowel with turned wooden handle. The blade is
superbly pierced with scrolls and the handle joins the blade with a bold
petalled motif. The silver sleeve adjacent to where the handle is fitted
bears a discreet set of initials. These trowels are very scarce and are
especially rare when in fine condition - this example is in superb condition
with neither damage nor repairs. The hallmarks to the reverse are in equally
good condition.
