1740 Dimensions: 382mm long; 222g weight Comments: A superb Georgian serving spoon. This giant of a spoon has a huge bowl and is in excellent condition (some scratching to reverse of bowl - see photo). The size of the spoon can be seen in the final photo which shows it side by side with a typical 8" table spoon of the period! The reverse terminal bears a contemporary to manufacture engraved cipher. The hallmarks are all deeply struck, although the makers mark is indistinct.
