Table Spoon - Fiddle pattern - Dumfries circa 1830 by Mark Hinchsliffe - 21.6cm long; 65g - HH/5126a

This fiddle pattern silver table spoon is clearly struck with Scottish provincial silver marks for the Dumfries silversmith Mark Hinchsliffe. Unusually, the surname of the maker is punched in full around the letter "M", plus good examples of of a "fouled anchor", "crown" and letter "X".

This table spoon is in excellent condition with a good, thick bowl tip and no personalised engravings (nor erasures).
