Coffee Pot - Baluster with Gadroon Mounts - London 1767 by Francis Butty & Nicholas Dumdee - 32cm high; 933g - DG/5682

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This elegant Georgian silver coffee pot was made by the rarely encountered Huguenot partnership of Butty & Dumdee.

The coffee pot stands on a pedestal foot and has a beautiful baluster form. The gadroon mounts to both foot and cover are indicative of the early George III period and a sign of high quality. The spout and finial are both cast, whilst the original double "C" scroll handle, as you would expect, is made from stained pearwood.

This fabulous quality silver coffee pot has a good weight in the hand and is in fine condition with a good, antique patina.
