Gerald Benney Silver Bark Goblet, 1969

A fine quality, early example of a silver wine goblet made during the 60's in the trademark bark design of Gerald Benney.

The goblet stands on a pedestal foot and the cup is textured to the exterior with the bark design and is gilt to the interior. It has a nice, chunky feel in the hand and is typical of the high quality produced by the late 20th century's greatest English silversmith. It is in excellent condition with good, crisp stampings of London hallmarks and the AGB maker's mark for Adrian Gerald Benney.
