Charles Stuart Harris was one of the best London silversmiths of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and this silver tea caddy is a fine example of his wares.
Made in the late Victorian period, this bombe form octagonal silver caddy has been made from a good gauge of silver and consequently has a nice solid feel in the hand. It has a hinged cover with cast finial and is in fine condition throughout with a clear set of hallmarks.
