Item: Vinaigrette Description: Floral scroll engraved Hallmark: Birmingham 1840 by Nathaniel Mills Dimensions: 45mm x 29 mm; 32g weight Comments: A superb example of a good sized Victorian vinaigrette made by Birmingham's master box-maker. The exterior of the box is engraved to all sides in a beautiful and crisp scroll engraving with the initials "JG" to the centre of the cover. The hinges work beautifully (the cover has a satisfying clunk on closing) and the whole piece has been designed with quality uppermost in mind.
