Antique Silver

SPOONS by Gail Belden & Michael Snodin

This book comes from the "Collecting for tomorrow" series and is useful for beginners. Its’ simple format makes it good coffee table material; each page covers a different subject with the relevant illustration on the opposite side.

As we know "spoons" is not a small subject and this book attempts to cover the whole lot in its’ 112 pages; examples of all types, from all ages, from all over the world and even non-silver items. Despite this it still makes interesting reading and hopefully incites its’ audience to take up spoon collecting – hopefully those made of silver!
