Item: Sugar Sifter Spoon Description: Figural
terminal with lion
Hallmark: London 1846 Dimensions: 137mm length; 36g weight
Comments: A fine quality Victorian sifter
spoon with an unusual figural terminal; a man in robes (a saint or
apostle?) with a tame lion. The quality of the spoon is excellent with a
waisted, scroll pierced bowl and twist stem. The makers' mark is part
worn, but is probably Henry Holland and the spoon is in overall lovely
condition.
